How To Do Heart Focused Breathing:
  • focus your attention on the area around your heart - place a hand on your chest if that helps
  • slow your breathing down so that you are breathing a little bit slower and a little bit deeper than before
  • make your outbreath the same length of time as your inbreath (about 4-5 second in and 4-5 seconds out)
  • and then imagine the breath flowing in through your heart, and out through your heart as you inhale and exhale
  • do this for 5 minutes 3 times a day to start
